September 2018 is the Osprey/Bloomsbury Publication release date for Run to the Sounds of the Guns: The True Story of an American Ranger at War in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The memoir is based on and co-written with Nicholas Moore. It covers his thirteen combat deployments from 2001 to 2013. Some of the missions included the Jessica Lynch Rescue, the recovery of Turbine 33 and Marcus Luttrell, the raid on the Emir of Al Qaeda in Mosul, the combat operations surrounding the downing of Extortion 1-7 carrying SEAL Team Six. It offers an eyewitness account of the transformation of the 75th Ranger Regiment from being the premiere light infantry unit in the world to conducting the same types of missions as SEAL Team Six and Delta Force.
You can pre-order a copy now from your local brick and mortar retailer or from online retailers.
